Preview: Green Hill Hawks vs. Bishop Kenny Crusaders
The Green Hill Hawks will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Bishop Kenny Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Green Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Dacula, taking the game 51-39.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bishop Kenny beat Rogers Heritage 47-42 on Wednesday. Given Bishop Kenny's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 11th in Florida, while Rogers Heritage is ranked 75th in Arkansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bishop Kenny got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kathleen Crawley out in front who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Sydney Roundtree, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Green Hill now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bishop Kenny, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
