Volleyball Recap: Columbiana's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Columbiana entered their tilt with Wellsville on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Columbiana's got stronger as the match went on, holding Wellsville to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13, 25-10.

Addisyn Dangler paced Columbiana's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dangler got some help from Eva Waller and her 20 assists. Lily Jackson and Evalyn Rapp kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Columbiana's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wellsville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Columbiana will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wellsville, they will welcome United at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
