Soccer Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Moscow last Thursday, Lake City came back down to earth. The Timberwolves came up short against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Lake City it sure didn't stay that way.

Lake City now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Coeur d'Alene, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake City is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coeur d'Alene will challenge rival Sandpoint at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
