Recap: Soledad Aztecs vs. Rancho San Juan Trailblazers
After a string of five wins, the Soledad Aztecs's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 53-43 to Rancho San Juan. If Soledad hoped to take revenge for the 79-60 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Several Aztecs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anikan Tavarez, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Pablo Morales iv, who scored nine points.
Soledad's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Rancho San Juan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Soledad will look to defend their home court on Monday against Gonzales at 7:00 p.m. As for Rancho San Juan, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
