Basketball Recap: Pulaski County Takes a Loss

Pulaski County lost against Blacksburg back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pulaski County Cougars took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blacksburg Bruins. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Blacksburg, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pulaski County Cougars duke it out with the East Wilkes Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blacksburg, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting North Cross at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. North Cross will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Blacksburg surely won't give up without a fight.
