Soccer Game Preview: Macomb vs. Monmouth-Roseville

The Macomb Bombers will head out on the road to face off against the Monmouth-Roseville Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Macomb's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Jacksonville. Macomb's winning goal came courtesy of Kate Stortzum.

Eight must be Monmouth-Roseville's lucky number: they beat DePue with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Titans blew past the Little Giants 8-0. Considering Monmouth-Roseville have won seven matchups by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Monmouth-Roseville and bumps their season record up to 9-7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two games. As for Macomb, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.
