Softball Recap: East Pennsboro Panthers vs. Middletown Blue Raiders
East Pennsboro easily dispatched Harrisburg last Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. East Pennsboro fell just short of the Middletown Blue Raiders by a score of 12-10 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Sofia Morrill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Even though they lost, East Pennsboro hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in four consecutive matches.
