Soccer Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Comes Up Short

Forsyth Home Educators managed to slip by Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks came up short against the Stallions on Monday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Forsyth Home Educators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association are ranked 77th).

This is the second loss in a row for Forsyth Home Educators and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-2.

Coming up, Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will square off against SouthLake Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. SouthLake Christian Academy's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
