There's no place like home for Riverside Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Silver Knights in their matchups with the Eagle: they've now won four in a row.

Riverside Prep was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.

Imani Springfield paced Riverside Prep's offense, picking up 15 kills. Springfield got some help from Denia Yarber and her nine assists. Leahna Ortega Flores controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Riverside Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.
