There's no place like home for Marcus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Little Elm Lobos an 8-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Marauders have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marcus is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 54 goals over those 13 contests. Little Elm is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12-1.

Marcus will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on March 17th. Coppell will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Marcus surely won't give up without a fight. As for Little Elm, they will host Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on March 17th.
