Volleyball Recap: Eight Straight Road Victories for Gordon Lee

Gordon Lee won the last time they faced North Murray and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mountaineers.

While Gordon Lee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14.

Emma Young paced Gordon Lee's offense, picking up 12 kills. Young got some help from Whitney Blaylock and her 22 assists. Blaylock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Gordon Lee pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Murray, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
