Basketball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century lost against Sherwood back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The contest between the Century Jaguars and the Sherwood Bowmen didn't end well, with the Century Jaguars falling 62-48. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Bowmen are ranked 18th).

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Sherwood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Coming up, Century will take on Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sherwood, they will welcome Newberg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
