It was a good run, but Arizona Lutheran Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-3 to the Camp Verde Cowboys. The Coyotes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cowboys from their previous meeting back in April of 2018.

Arizona Lutheran Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Humbert, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Camp Verde, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Arizona Lutheran Academy will welcome Santa Cruz Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dust Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Coyotes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Camp Verde, they will head out to face off against Phoenix Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
