Marine Military Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Dash Varner. The Leathernecks came out on top against the John F. Kennedy Rockets by a score of 14-7 on Friday for which the team can thank Varner, who rushed for 166 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making nine total tackles.

Marine Military Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for John F. Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Marine Military Academy will take on La Villa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for John F. Kennedy, they will challenge Canyon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Rockets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
