Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They never let the Stranahan Mighty Dragons get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hurricanes needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Stranahan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will venture away from home to face off against Everglades at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stranahan, they will head out to square off against Hollywood Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stranahan has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
