Basketball Game Preview: Maplewood Tigers vs. Jamestown Muskies

The Maplewood Tigers will head out to square off against the Jamestown Muskies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Maplewood and 13 for Jamestown.

Last Tuesday, Maplewood was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to Cambridge Springs.

Meanwhile, Jamestown was beaten by Cochranton 78-35 on Tuesday.

Maplewood will have to contain Danner Babcock as he made an impact in Jamestown's last game. He posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Graves, who earned nine points.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Maplewood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Maplewood strolled past Jamestown when the teams last played on January 7th by a score of 56-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maplewood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
