Basketball Recap: Lake Placid Takes a Loss

Lake Placid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 41-25 bruising from the Chazy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-27 back in January.

Despite the loss, Lake Placid still got an impressive performance from Seb Cecunjanin, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. That was a full 56% of Lake Placid's points, marking the seventh time in a row Cecunjanin has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Chazy, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Coincidentally, Lake Placid and Chazy will both be playing Johnsburg Central the next time they take the court. Lake Placid will head out to face Johnsburg Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Chazy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
