Soccer Recap: South Gibson Comes Up Short

South Gibson fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Crockett County on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 4-2 to the Cavaliers. That makes it the first time this season South Gibson have let down their home crowd.

Landon Brown wasn't going to let Crockett County walk away unscathed as he scored both of South Gibson's goals, bringing his season total up to 17 goals.

South Gibson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Crockett County, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither South Gibson nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
