Soccer Game Preview: Fredericksburg vs. Marble Falls

Fredericksburg and Marble Falls are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but likely not for long. The Fredericksburg Billies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marble Falls Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fredericksburg is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since January 10. They and Canyon Lake finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Marble Falls managed to keep up with Wimberley until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Marble Falls lost 5-0 to Wimberley. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Texans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Marble Falls' loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. With that draw, Fredericksburg's record moves to 6-1-3.

Fredericksburg came out on top in a nail-biter against Marble Falls in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, sneaking past 1-0. Will Fredericksburg repeat their success, or does Marble Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
