Soccer Game Preview: Bluefield vs. Princeton + Official Tickets

Bluefield hasn't had much luck against Princeton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Beavers are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bluefield was handed a ten-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past James Monroe 2-1.

Meanwhile, Princeton hasn't lost a match since September 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They blew past Herbert Hoover 4-1. That's two games straight that Princeton have won by exactly three goals.

They hit Herbert Hoover with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jake Stull (2), Ashton Jones, and Jaxson Richards.

Princeton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six matchups. As for Bluefield, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.

Bluefield might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Princeton when the teams last played back in August. Can the Beavers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
