Volleyball Recap: James Kenan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

James Kenan lost against Goldsboro back in November of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

James Kenan was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Goldsboro work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-13.

Goldsboro was led to victory by Anna Westbrook and Callaway Sauls. Westbrook had 13 digs and one assist, while Sauls had seven digs. That's the most digs Sauls has posted over her last six matchups.

James Kenan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Goldsboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

James Kenan has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Clinton on the 3rd. As for Goldsboro, they will square off against Princeton at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
