Baseball Recap: Coldwater Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vicksburg on Thursday, Coldwater came back down to earth. The Cardinals came up short against the Haslett Vikings on Saturday, falling 17-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since April 11th.

Coldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Haslett, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-8.

Coincidentally, Coldwater and Haslett will both be playing DeWitt the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
