Liberty posted their closest victory since April 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Granada Matadors. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Matadors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Kaitlyn Macias was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
