Baseball Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short

Annapolis fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Glen Burnie on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gophers by a score of 9-7. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Colin Bashor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. John Davis was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Annapolis' record now sits at 0-3. As for Glen Burnie, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Annapolis will square off against Meade at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Glen Burnie, they will face off against Crofton at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
