Alliance waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Marlington Dukes by a score of 5-1. That's two games straight that the Aviators have won by exactly four runs.

Valentino Fisk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alliance's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bo Davis, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. DiAngelo Fisk was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Alliance's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Alliance will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dukes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
