Football Game Preview: Princeville Princes vs. Stark County Rebels

The Princeville Princes are taking a road trip to take on the Stark County Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Princeville easily dispatched ROWVA/Williamsfield last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Princes fell just short of Annawan-Wethersfield by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The Princes haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Stark County played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Rushville-Industry, falling 54-19. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-12.

Stark County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Princeville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-2.

Princeville beat Stark County 32-22 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Princes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
