Soccer Recap: Cushman Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cushman's offense. They lost 8-0 to South Florida HEAT on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 484th, while South Florida HEAT are ranked 183rd).

Cushman's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for South Florida HEAT, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Cushman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Florida HEAT, they will take on Franklin Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. South Florida HEAT is facing Franklin Academy at the right time seeing as Franklin Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
