Volleyball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Arizona Lutheran Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scottsdale Christian Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now won eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.

Scottsdale Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Emma Weller, who had 12 digs and four aces. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Weller.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 32-6. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 16-23 record.

Scottsdale Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Camp Verde on the 8th. Arizona Lutheran Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
