Gennaro Brito, Tucson High Magnet School's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Monday. Brito was dialed in as he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. He was up against Rincon/University and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Brito is becoming a predictor of Tucson High Magnet School's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-11 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Brito and Tucson High Magnet School will square off against Marana at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Badgers are 9-1 against the Tigers going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
