Football Recap: Windward Skates Past Compton Early College with Ease

While Windward put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Compton Early College. The Wildcats breezed past the Rising Phoenix to the tune of 56-0. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 49-point advantage.

The victory got Windward back to even at 1-1.

Windward will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 12:45 p.m. on September 5. As for Compton Early College, they will square off against Centennial at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
