Tunkhannock took a five-goal loss the last time they faced off against Dunmore, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bucks on Saturday.

Tunkhannock's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Dunmore, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Tunkhannock and Dunmore should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 99th) will meet Hanover Area (ranked 246th) at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dunmore will challenge Mid Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (172 vs. 349).
