Volleyball Game Preview: Allen East Mustangs vs. Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds

The Allen East Mustangs will face off against the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Allen East is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Wayne Trace.

Allen East was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Lima Central Catholic suffered their biggest loss since October 16, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Parkway, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Lima Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Allen East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
