Baseball Recap: Fort Campbell Comes Up Short

Fort Campbell fell victim to Trigg County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 16-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fort Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Trigg County, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Campbell will welcome University Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blazers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Trigg County, they will challenge Livingston Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
