Flag Football Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

Poly was the 30-19 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 30-25 to the Mustangs on Tuesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poly's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Poly will host Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Great Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolfpack's defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
