It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Oconee can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 80-79 to the Jackson Jaguars. One positive for the Titans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaliyah Weaver, who went 10-for-16 on her way to 29 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Weaver a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Cayden Cornish, who posted 23 points and five steals.

With the loss, North Oconee broke their 17-game winning streak and moved their record to 29-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Jackson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

North Oconee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, they will face off against Creekside at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Creekside comes in on 31 and Jackson on five.
