Volleyball Recap: Diamond Comes Up Short

Diamond lost against Fair Grove back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-12 in the first set.

Diamond actually scored more points across those five sets (106-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-23, 25-20, 20-25, 15-13.

Diamond's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9-1. As for Fair Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-11-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Diamond nor Fair Grove have any future games scheduled.
