Shattuck came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Red Oak Eagles get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Shattuck pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Red Oak, they moved to 17-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Shattuck by a score of 6-0 later that day.
