The Dulaney Lions will venture away from home to take on the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Monday, Dulaney beat Gilman 10-7. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Western Tech & Environmental Science entered their tilt with Pallotti on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 15-8 win. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.
Harlan Sammons made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Dulaney pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Dulaney took their victory against Western Tech & Environmental Science in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
