Volleyball Recap: Reese Connor Key Part of Team Effort in Rebels Win

Wabeno/Laona won the last time they faced Phelps and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rebels blew past the Knights 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-12.

Wabeno/Laona got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reese Connor out in front who had 17 assists and two aces. That's the most assists Connor has posted over her last five matches.

Wabeno/Laona's record now sits at 25-9. As for Phelps, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-20.

Looking ahead, Wabeno/Laona will square off against Pacelli at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Phelps, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marion on the 11th.
