Land O' Lakes entered their tilt with Nature Coast Tech on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Sharks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-10 back in March.

Zachary Kelly tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Land O' Lakes' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Christian Vollsteadt, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Trevor Wildman was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Land O' Lakes' record now sits at 14-8. As for Nature Coast Tech, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Land O' Lakes will welcome Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators are facing the Bulls at the right time seeing as the Bulls are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lecanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sharks will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Panthers will have lost seven straight heading into Friday's game.
