Baseball Game Preview: Harford Tech Cobras vs. North Harford Hawks

For the second straight game, Harford Tech will face off against North Harford. The Cobras will host the Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Harford Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Harford Tech proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 14) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let North Harford get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cobras have posted since April 29, 2024.

Not much got past CJ Scism, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep North Harford off the board. Scism also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Harford Tech is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Harford Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Lane, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.
