Volleyball Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Cedar Reds

Dixie is 0-5 against Cedar since March of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. Dixie will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Dixie is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Desert Hills.

Dixie was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Desert Hills work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 28-26, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Cedar came up short against Crimson Cliffs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Reds have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

While Cedar had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
