Marion kept a clean sheet against Oak Hill on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. Even though Marion got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Micah Bryant was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Keegan Cook and Ethan Fain scored both of Marion's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Marion has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for Oak Hill, they now have a losing record of 0-1-2.

Coming up, Marion will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia City at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Hill, they will head out on the road to take on Eastbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Oak Hill's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
