Basketball Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

Crescent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through an 83-37 loss at the hands of the Clallam Bay Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-36 last Wednesday.

Crescent's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Liam Sprague, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds, and Jessie Chartier, who posted four points and seven boards.

Crescent's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Clallam Bay, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Crescent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 93-30 loss against Neah Bay on the 21st. As for Clallam Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-58 win against Concrete on the 17th.
