Basketball Recap: Cayuga Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Cayuga challenged Troup on Friday. The Cayuga Wildcats took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Troup Tigers. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Cayuga's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Troup, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Cayuga will take on Harleton in a tournament on Friday. As for Troup, they will be taking part in a tournament against Alto at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Troup is facing Alto at the right time seeing as Alto is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
