Peabody Veterans Memorial waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the North Andover Scarlet Knights. This was a revenge game for the Tanners: when they faced off against the Scarlet Knights back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Peabody Veterans Memorial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Elizabeth Bettencourt paced Peabody Veterans Memorial's offense, picking up 20 kills. Bettencourt got some help from Yorna Demiri and her 14 assists.

Despite the loss, North Andover still got an impressive performance from Isabella Wong, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Peabody Veterans Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for North Andover, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
