Basketball Recap: Delaware Academy Has No Trouble Against Maple Hill

Delaware Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Maple Hill on Sunday. The Delaware Academy Bulldogs strolled past the Maple Hill Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 54-37.

Delaware Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Maple Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delaware Academy will welcome Unadilla Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maple Hill, they will host Voorheesville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Voorheesville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Maple Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
