Basketball Recap: La Plata Takes a Loss

La Plata lost against Green City back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The La Plata Bulldogs had to suffer through a 86-19 loss at the hands of the Green City Gophers. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for La Plata and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Green City, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

La Plata wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-36 win against Putnam County on the 3rd. As for Green City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-38 victory against Schuyler County on the 4th.
