Basketball Recap: Hermitage Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Star City, Hermitage was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Strong Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hermits as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hermitage's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-22. As for Strong, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Hermitage won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dermott at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Strong, they and Taylor will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
