Medford is a perfect 5-0 against Somerville since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mustangs will welcome the Highlanders at 6:00 p.m.

Medford managed to slip by Revere the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs took a blow against the Patriots on Thursday, falling 43-14. The Mustangs were down 29-8 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Somerville was able to grind out a solid victory over Chelsea on Friday, taking the game 13-6.

Somerville's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Medford, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Medford against Somerville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 48-12 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
